Oh my gosh ... last night was truly amazing! I had hoped to see a little light show and got SO much more. I'm running to my conference, so I'm just posting a few of the pics. I'll explain more later ...
Hi Mrs. Redfern! We are LOVING your blog so far. All of the pictures and descriptions of Alaska are amazing!(We especially loved the brand new puppy!). Our class wanted to know if the Northern Lights that you saw were just one color (primarily green), or many different colors? Thanks so much! Sincerely, Mrs. Driscoll's 4th grade class :)
I stand corrected. Although I could only see a white haze, Mr. Redfern says he saw some green, pink and yellow. The colors were definitely brighter in the pictures though.
Mrs. Redfern, It looks like you had a fantastic trip! We really enjoyed checking out the updates every day! We look forward to having you back next week.
We had to drive away from Anchorage to get away from the city lights. We were somewhere near the Knik River near Palmer. I didn't drive, so I'm not sure exactly where it was.
Pictures are amazing. The best time for viewing northern lights is sept. At this time I visited to alaska and I saw the beautiful northern lights. This Northern lights trip was so amazing.
